Loretta Adventures Around the Baltic Sea

A mostly cloudy day on Friday saw us take a small trip around the local islands via tour boat.

Because it was cool and the last Friday in June (most Finns were still working that day), we had the boat to ourselves most of the trip. We saw all kinds of islands and boats along the way. It was a nice trip.

About halfway through our boat tour we landed near Helsinki, on the mainland. We found some roses that Mom recognized as similar to those she has at home.

On Saturday we are traveling into downtown Helsinki to meet up with Marianne's uncle to see some of the sights there. More pictures of the trip are available at the Flickr site link in the upper right corner of this blog.
